As an independent writer and community advocate who was born and raised in Western Sydney to Lebanese parents, Amne uses her blog, unveiledthought.com to write on the issues facing ethnically diverse communities - with a particular focus on youth and women.
Amne uses her experiences in managing not-for-profit initiatives and running teams of government policy analysts in federal and territory government to bring together the right stakeholders to counter the impacts of negative social dialogue on young diverse Australians. Her ultimate aim is to take down barriers between ethnic minorities and broader society to create more socially inclusive environments.
